We are a Philadelphia-based private rental company with a simple mission: provide safe, comfortable, and well-maintained rooms that tenants are proud to call home.
Safe Space Realty was founded on a straightforward belief: everyone deserves a home that is clean, safe, and well-maintained.
We are a small, private operation. That means no property management companies, no maintenance request queues that go unanswered for weeks, and no one reading from a script when you call. You will always reach a real person who knows your name and your address.
Our name is intentional. We want every tenant to feel that their home is genuinely a safe space, somewhere they can return to at the end of the day and feel at ease.
Every property is maintained to a standard we would be comfortable living in ourselves. Regular upkeep is something we take genuine pride in.
We answer calls, respond to texts, and show up when needed. Tenants should never feel like they are talking to a wall.
No hidden fees, no surprise charges, no fine print designed to confuse. We believe in leases that are easy to understand and fair to both sides.
We manage a small number of properties deliberately. Fewer units means more attention to each one, and to each person living in them.
When we make decisions about a property, the first question is always: does this make life better for the people who live here?
We are proud to own and operate in Philadelphia neighborhoods. We want our properties to be assets to their communities.
When you rent with Safe Space Realty, these are the standards we hold ourselves to:
A well-maintained room prepared for your arrival
Prompt, responsive attention to maintenance needs
A clear, easy-to-read lease with no hidden fees
Direct contact with the owner, not an automated system
Fully furnished shared common areas that are kept clean and comfortable
A fair and consistent application process, applied equally to all applicants
Trevor Naskiewicz founded Safe Space Realty out of a genuine passion for real estate and a belief that every renter deserves more than just a roof over their head. He has spent years studying the Philadelphia rental market and has seen firsthand what good landlording can look like, and what it too often does not.
What sets Trevor apart is that he has actually lived it. He spent years living in Port Richmond, where Tulip Street is located, getting to know its streets, its restaurants and shops, and its people. Today he lives in Manayunk, just a couple of blocks from the Mitchell Street property, and is always nearby if something comes up.
His goal is simple: build something small, do it right, and make Philadelphia a better place to rent.
